Thomas Randolph finished 4th in Heat 2 at the England Athletics Indoor U17 Championships last weekend running a new indoor best of 1:58. Thomas’ personal target was sub 1:55 with his coach setting him a realistic target of 1:56. Tom was leading with 200m to go (1:25) destined to run his quickest ever 800m but ran out of gas due to the lack of endurance. Although suffering with arteriovenous malformation, he will desperately try to increase his mileage hoping that his body won’t fatigue inside thirty seconds when going out on an aerobic conditioning run. Well done Tom the sooner this AVM is over the quicker we can speed things up.
