Big congratulation to Dan Robinson who ran 76:17 at the Farnborough Winter Half last weekend. His new personal best and third place position in the 50-55 category was enough to secure and pull on the coveted England masters vest. The eight weeks leading up to the event was a mixed bag; niggles and a suspected broken rib didn’t help his cause, but the weeks before the event had been relatively smooth. Dan has been working tirelessly in his strength and conditioning sessions. His form and movement patterns have improved drastically, but the main benefit has come from his work ethic in circuit training. His velocity has improved, which in turn has increased his repetition count contributing overall to his increased muscular endurance. There’s definitely more to come from this gentleman. Nine weeks until Berlin and twelve until London..
