Congratulation to Joshua Hale who not only achieved the Midland title, but also set a new 400m personal best time of 48.93, in which was his second only 400m race since 2018. The Birmingham athlete went off hard at the Midland Championships in Nuneaton, and held his form to claim his first ever Midland title.

Josh has endured a couple of shoulder dislocations over the last two years which we did not foresee, so to achieve a 48-second run is absolutely marvellous. We now look forward to seeing what he produces come end of summer.

We believe a plyometric and lower body weights unit combined with his specific speed and lactate sessions will help bring his 400m time down to 47-seconds over the next seven weeks. Only time will tell!
